Employee Engagement Software That Closes the Loop

Ask with a pulse survey people answer honestly, route a grievance to a named owner through a defined workflow, and reach everyone with an announcement you can prove was read. Asking is the easy half.

The Problem

Everyone Has an Opinion. Nothing Reaches a Decision

The feedback exists. What is missing is the path from somebody saying it to somebody owning it.

  • An announcement posted on Viber that half the staff never scrolled back to
  • A grievance raised verbally to a supervisor, then remembered differently by both people
  • One annual survey on Google Forms, results nobody could slice by department
  • Feedback that arrives, gets nodded at, and produces no visible action
The NepalHRM Way

A Channel That Ends in an Owner

Every input here has a route, a state and somebody whose name is on it, which is the difference between a suggestion box and engagement.

What NepalHRM gives you

  • Targeted announcements with a record of who has opened them
  • Grievances filed against a named respondent and tracked through seven statuses
  • Pulse and eNPS surveys, anonymous by structure, with results by department and branch
  • A feedback channel that lands in the same place HR already works
What's Inside

Four Ways to Listen, One Place to Act

Surveys to ask, grievances to escalate, announcements to answer back, and a feedback channel for everything in between.

eNPS, Pulse and Custom Surveys

Three kinds of survey. Questions come as a 0–10 or 1–5 scale, single or multiple choice, or free text, in any mix.

Anonymity by Structure

On an anonymous survey the response carries no employee id at all, so an answer cannot be traced back. Participation is tracked separately, which is how a response rate still works.

Audience Targeting

Survey everyone, one department, one branch, or a hand-picked list. The response-rate denominator counts only active and on-leave staff.

A Minimum-Response Threshold

Results stay hidden until enough people have answered, so a five-person team's anonymous survey cannot be reverse-engineered from a breakdown.

Grievance Workflow

Filed, review, mediation, escalated, then resolved or rejected, then closed. Seven statuses across harassment, discrimination, wage, health and safety, working conditions and misconduct.

A Named Owner on Every Case

A grievance records who filed it, who it is against and who signed off the resolution. The filer can withdraw it only while it is still untouched.

Targeted Announcements

Send to the whole company, chosen departments or named individuals, with a push notification to the mobile app.

Read Tracking

Every open is recorded, so “I never saw it” stops being an argument and starts being a number on the announcement.

Feedback Channel

The lower-stakes route for a suggestion or a complaint that is not a formal grievance, so the workflow is not the only door.

In-App Chat

Channels and threads with mentions, reactions and attachments, on Enterprise. Read /messaging-privacy for exactly how message content is protected.

Platform Updates

Product change broadcasts land in the app, so people find out what moved without an email nobody opens.

It Reaches the Phone

Announcements, survey invitations and grievance updates arrive as push notifications on Android and iOS, which is what reaches a factory floor.

The Engagement Loop

From Said Out Loud to Visibly Acted On

Five stages. Skip the last two and the survey response rate falls the next time you ask, which is how engagement programmes die.

  1. Heard

    Raised

A survey answer, a grievance or a piece of feedback enters the system with a timestamp.

  2. Routed

    Owned

A grievance gets a status and a handler. A survey closes and its results are cut by department and branch.

  3. Acted on

    Decided

Review, mediation or escalation. The case moves through states rather than sitting in somebody's memory.

  4. Answered

    Closed

Resolved or rejected, then closed, with the sign-off recorded against the person who made it.

  5. Measured

    Asked again

The next pulse shows whether the action landed. That comparison is the only proof an engagement programme works.

Why This Matters

A Suggestion Box Is Not an Engagement Programme

The gap between the two is entirely about what happens after somebody speaks. One has a workflow; the other has good intentions.

Viber Groups and Google Forms

  • No way to know who has actually read an announcement
  • Anonymity promised in the intro paragraph and nowhere else
  • A verbal grievance with no status, no owner and no date
  • Results in a spreadsheet nobody can slice by department
How it Works

Ask, Handle, Reach Everyone

One track for each of the three things this module is actually used for.

  1. eNPS, a pulse or a custom questionnaire, aimed at everyone, one department, one branch or a hand-picked list.

Three Kinds, Four Audiences

For Every Role

One Loop, Four Points of View

The employee needs somewhere safe to speak. HR needs a workflow. Management needs the number.

For Employees

Somewhere it actually goes

  • Answer a survey anonymously, with the identity genuinely not stored
  • File a grievance that carries a status you can check
  • Read announcements in the app instead of scrolling back through a group

For Managers

Your team's temperature

  • Department results once the response threshold is met
  • A team announcement that reaches your people and nobody else
  • Feedback about the team, in writing, before it becomes a resignation

For HR

A caseload, not a memory

  • Every open grievance with its status, age and handler
  • Survey results by department and branch, exportable
  • Read tracking that proves a policy change was communicated

For Management

A number that moves

  • eNPS this quarter against last quarter
  • Where engagement is falling, by department, before people leave
  • Open case count and how long cases take to close

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about employee engagement in NepalHRM before you get started.

Yes, and the anonymity is structural rather than a promise in the intro text. On an anonymous survey the stored response carries no employee id at all, so an answer cannot be traced back to a person. Who took part is tracked separately, which is how a response rate still works without identifying anyone.

Yes. Every open is recorded against the announcement, so you get a read count and the list of people who have not seen it yet. That turns a policy change from something you hope was communicated into something you can show was communicated.

A grievance is filed under one of seven subjects and moves through filed, review, mediation, escalated, resolved or rejected, then closed. It records who filed it, who it names and who signed off the resolution, so access is limited to the parties and the HR handlers rather than open to the company.

No. Every grievance records its complainant, because a case with a named respondent needs a named filer to be investigable at all. The filer can withdraw it while it is still in the filed state, before anyone has begun triage. Anonymity is what surveys offer; grievances trade it for a process.

Yes. A survey can target everyone, a single department, a single branch or a hand-picked list of employees. The response-rate denominator counts only active and on-leave staff, so people who have resigned or been terminated do not drag the percentage down.

Yes. Announcements, survey invitations and grievance status changes appear in the app and arrive as push notifications on Android and iOS, alongside email. Push is what reaches shift and field staff who have no work email address and no desk.

NepalHRM messaging is not end-to-end encrypted. Messages are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), but the keys are managed by NepalHRM so that search, audit and retention controls can work. If a conversation needs end-to-end privacy from your employer, use a different channel. Our /messaging-privacy page sets out who can see what, including what the Labour Act 2074 allows an employer to monitor.

Yes. Results come with breakdowns by department and branch and can be taken out for a board pack or a deeper analysis. Breakdowns stay hidden until the minimum-response threshold is met, so a four-person team's anonymous answers cannot be worked back to individuals.
