Two holidays on one date, and a date that moves every year
In 2083 Janmashtami and Gaura Parva both fall on Bhadra 19. For staff in Sudurpashchim who would get both, that is one day off, not two, and it counts once.
The date will not be Bhadra 19 next year. Janmashtami follows the lunar calendar, so like most festivals in the notice it moves by up to a few weeks from year to year. Copy dates from the current notice, never from last year's company calendar.
